In every ecosystem there are some species that are called Keystone species. A keystone species is an organism that helps define an entire ecosystem. Without its keystone species, the ecosystem would be dramatically different or cease to exist altogether.
I have combined two keystone species the great white shark and also the saguaro cactus, both are currently endangered in their habitats
