I met this beautiful Red Cardinal when I was in Central Park in New York. He was a typical New Yorker busy about his business and not caring what was happening around him. In his hustle and bustle, he didn’t notice the small swarm of bees he flew through. It made me wonder if animals are aware of their current circumstances and that of other animals. Does the Cardinal that is currently listed of least concern know the plight of the bees?
